a little about me!

My name is Livvy (they/them) and I am an artist and creator currently living in New Hampshire. I have been making art and other crafts for my entire life. My family helped me fall in love with many different forms of art and expression from a young age. I'm 100% the kind of person who will see something on Etsy, think to myself, "I can make that," and then spend more money making it then it would cost to buy in the first place. But I think creation is more about the adventure than the outcome.

I studied fine art photography in college, but since have been doing much more painting, drawing, and textile arts. Really I just love making things! I love anything that is somewhat tedious or highly detailed. I'm also not afraid to use a power tool or two to get something done. If I don't know how to do something, more than likely I'll go online and figure out how. I've gained many artistic skills through experimentation.

I want my art to bring people happiness and a feeling of inclusion. I also truly believe that anyone can make art. I have been teaching skiing for nearly a decade and also enjoyed intern teaching elementary art classes when I was in school. As a proud member of queer society, I want to help people express themselves in whatever way they can. Art is a wonderful and fun way to accomplish this. I hope that anyone who comes across me or my art feels welcomed and safe!
